Lake Carriers' Association has no role in arranging the actual movement of cargo. However, we can provide a list of the marketing contacts at our member companies. Information regarding other U.S.-Flag operators engaged in the movement of dry- and liquid-bulk cargos on the Great Lakes is available from several sources. The U.S. Maritime Administration has an office in Chicago which can assist in identifying potential carriers. The contact is Floyd Miras (847-995-0122).
