59 U.S.-Flag Lakers In Service On June 1
The major U.S.-flag Great Lakes operators had 59 vessels in service on June 1, an increase of 5 hulls compared to a year ago, and a slight increase over the month's 5-year average. The June 1 total is also the highest recorded in any month since October 2002, when 60 U.S.-Flag lakers were in operation.
